Are you a splatter or a bouncer?

If only life could get easier, but the reality is as we get older some things get harder, and maybe more complicated. At every stage of life there are good aspects and bad, the key is to focus on the good. If you think about it, there are two kinds of people in the world when it comes to dealing with discouragement—-splatters and bouncers. What happens when a splatter hits rock bottom? Do they fall apart, or they stick to the bottom like glue? What impact does that have? On the other hand, when the bouncer hits rock bottom,do they pull it together and bounce back? Probably, consider bouncing back today.
Paul Meyer says, “Ninety percent of those who fail are not actually defeated. They simply quit.” That’s what discouragement can do to you, it could cause you to quit. Since we all get discouraged at some point, the question is will you give up or get up?

I like it! Get up by all means. There’s a fine line also between give up and change course. Sometimes it’s wise to not keep banging your head on the wall. Perhaps hope, joy, and encouragement can be our gauge as to whether we’re on the right path? Forge on in growth and passion versus forcing change to be in control. Always being in control can be like giving up – very little growth there.
