Doing it anyway

The moment has come. Today is the day I gather my courage and begin blogging. Finally!

“Why blog?” you may ask. Well, I believe that blogging opens up powerful new opportunities for each of us to share our thoughts, feelings and insights. Of course, that means that we have to face the fear (or whatever you choose to call the paralysis or block that intrudes between us and our best intentions) and conquer it. Ah yes — “Feel the fear and do it anyway.”

I intend to jump in, get started, then modify as I go. Build the habit (of writing every day) first, and stick to it. Soon, a certain momentum builds, a new habit takes form, and one thought leads naturally to the next. At least, that’s the plan! So often – too often – we wait until we feel motivated to start a new venture. But, more often than not, “motivation follows action.” What might you begin today?

Thank you Sandi. You are such an inspiration to me and to many. You and Al have such creativity, energy and vision. You hold us so big and help us live into our potential. And then there is your mastery of generation. You think a thought then act on it. No gap. I learn from your clarity and ease.
