How Important is Curiosity?

A message from Sandy. I’ve read that curiosity is an important trait of a genius, they claim that you cannot find an intellectual giant who is not a curious person. So why is curiosity important?
Curious people always ask questions and search for answers in their minds. Their minds are active. If your mind is like a muscle that becomes stronger the more you use it, then the mental exercise you get by being curious should be the equivalent to brain body building. When your mind is curious about something, your mind expects and anticipates new ideas related to it. When the ideas come, you may be more likely to recognize them and take action. How many of your great ideas may have been lost due to a lack of curiosity?
Being curious could open up new worlds and possibilities. How many ideas are hidden beneath the surface of everyday life? It takes a curious mind to look below the surface and discover new possibilities. The life of a truly curious person would never be boring, dull or routine. A curious person could have an adventurous life, there would always be new things to attract your attention. What will it take for you to be more curious?
