Is Motivation The Key to Self Improvement?

A message from Sandy. When you think of self improvement, what do you think if first?
There may be several reasons for why we change; be it a painful situation, a bitter experience, a great movie, a friend’s tragedy, encouraging friends or an inspiring book. Any of these, may be enough to help us give us enough motivation to start improving ourselves.
With the countless negativities we are exposed to in a daily basis, I wonder how to keep motivated. Some thoughts to consider:
- Avoid negative people, things and places. They will squash your dreams!
- Believe in yourself and in what you are capable of doing.(You go girl!)
- Motivation comes from determination, try to understand life by examining every aspect and angle. (there’s that curiosity again)
- Don’t give up and don’t give in!
- Enjoy! Work as if you don’t need the money. Dance as if no one is watching (they will be, watch out for those flip cameras) Love as if you never cried and learn as if you will live forever!
- Family and friends—life’s greatest treasures. Don’t lose sight of them.
- Give more than what would be considered enough.
Tell me what are your tips for self-improvement and motivation? What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
