A message from Sandy. I try to make an effort each day to use these tips to improve. It’s not always easy and it takes a little bit of time, but certainly worth it

  • Get off to a good start each day. This means getting up early and eating breakfast. You will have much more energy throughout the day.
  • Keep a schedule  have a lists of tasks to be completed that day, if you don’t get them all done just add the incomplete tasks from today to tomorrow’s list.
  • Take a break and have some fun. Consider how much time you spend in front of the computer. Develop new interests and friends to break up the monotony of everyday life.
  • Be generous. Generosity has a tendency to come back to you. Be generous with your smiles, your attention, your encouragement and really listening to someone.
  • Accept the things you cannot change. When something bad happens in our lives we have a tendency to  try and fix it, or change it, but sometimes we can’t.  Acceptance of situations we cannot change allows us to start finding ways to cope sooner.
  • Break the chain. If you have a lot of patterns in your life–try breaking them–do something different every day.
  • Face our fear. Every day we should try to do something we don’t want to do–or fee uncomfortable doing. Stretch yourself.
  • Don’t procrastinate. This can be a struggle for many people. When you keep putting something off, you put yourself in to time-debt. You will have to pay that debt back and almost always end up having to do that at the most inconvenient time.
