Being A Better You

How you see yourself A message from Sandy. Life can be difficult. People are always looking for an influence, someone to look up to, someone to emulate. You could be that example! You could be the motivation that could really impact another human being. You can help change the world by changing yourself.

  • Decide what you consider to be the “best qualities” and most “admirable traits” you would like to incorporate into your personality.
  • Befriend people who you consider to be a good influence (don’t expect them to be saints!)
  • Make changes slowly. Try one behavior at a time, as you change your habits, your mind will follow.
  • Remember that life goals can change, and who you are can change as well. Never fail to re-evaluate and rediscover yourself.
  • Reach out to those in need.
  • Read. A good debate always challenges human intelligence and builds pride.
  • Live! Volunteer, write in your journal, join a group, take up a new hobby. Fill your life to the brim with rewarding activities.
  • Boost your intelligence. Cultivate your brain power. Challenge your mind in a way that expands your thinking beyond what you know and believe.
  • Think before you speak. A good listener  will build trust from others. Use this trust to help people better them selves.
  • Stay active. Just 30 minutes of activity can help you lead a healthier, longer and more fruitful life.
  • Focus your mind on something positive–high motives and noble thoughts can be transferred into actions.
  • Give your dreams another look. Dream again with determination.
  • Give quiet understanding. All that we do should be for the benefit of all.
  • Always think how helping others, helps you.

What do you do to become a better you?
