Let People Know You Need Them

A message from Sandy. Just like the Beatles needed each other to create their unique harmony and write songs, my guess is you need the group of people that surrounds you for harmony in your business.
The day that you realize you can no longer do everything yourself is a major step in your development as a leader. You may have a vision, or plenty of ideas, even vasts amounts of energy, but when the vision gets bigger than you, you really only have 2 choices: give up, or get help!
No matter how successful you are, no matter how important or accomplished, you do need people. That’s why you need to let them know that you cannot do without them. (imagine the Beatles without Ringo) Woodrow Wilson said, ” We should not only use all the brains we have—-but all that we can borrow.”
Why stop at just their brains? Enlist people’s hands and hearts too. Lyndon Johnson said, ” There are not problems we cannot solve together, and very few we can solve by ourselves.” Take some time today and let the people around you know how much you need and appreciate them.
