Be All That You Can Be

A message from Sandy. Be all that you can be, but not always in the Army. Do you see yourself as somewhat content with your life, with the way things are? Do you still aspire for something deeper and more meaningful? Face it, we are all pelted with problems on a daily basis, it shouldn’t even bother us or hinder us in becoming all we would like to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, can you find your dreams again? They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks——or can they?
- What do I really want? The question of the ages. So many things you may want to do, and so little time. Find something you are good at, this can help you realize a small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key.
- Should I really change? Take another look at redefining yourself. What do you want? How close are you to getting there? What is holding you back?
- What is the bright side in changing? With so much happening around us there seems little time to consider the light at the end of the tunnel. Can you still see it as something positive without undergoing to much scrutiny? If there is a train at the end of your tunnel, are you willing to take it for a ride and see what happens?
- Am I comfortable with what I am doing? There’s always the easy way and the right way. It’s good to see yourself as unique, but variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions.
- Have I done enough for myself? Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you can see and do things you may never have imagined doing.
- Are you happy where you are today? Do you love your everyday life?
- What motivates you? An answer you must find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make you happy, but choosing one may be the hardest part. It’s not like you can’t try all your favorite foods at the buffet–you just need to try them one dish at a time.
- What really makes you tick? You can be anything you want to be, but if you feel that attaining that goal may seem very difficult—it’s already giving up before you have even started on the journey. Self-improvement has to be something you really want for yourself.
So, do you really want change for yourself?
